Opinions are split on this fruit.

Compared to the traditional grapefruit, the pomelo is much milder and, most importantly, less bitter. Its detractors claim that the pomelo is a boring version of the grapefruit. Others are convinced that the pomelo will surpass the common grapefruit in popularity. Pomelo juice is refreshing and has a less pronounced tart, bitter note.
