Rose Apple
Never mix apples and pears!
Although rose apples have a certain visual similarity to our typical, local apples, their flavors are worlds apart. They taste much more like a balanced mixture of watermelon and pears. Fantastic! And they’re loaded with antioxidants.
The evergreen trees with imposing, snow-white blossoms on which this flavorful fruit grows can reach a height of up to 12 meters. The flesh of the rose apple is crisp with a sweet and sour taste. Its aroma is similar to that of star fruit but more intense.
